How Far I've Came

Image
Today, Google Photos reminded me of something I didn't know I needed. It showed me my first-year college photos—late 2022 and early 2023. Out of curiosity, I started scrolling through them. My first reaction was exactly what you'd expect. "Damn, I looked like that?" "Why was I smiling like that?" "I wasn't even good at posing." "I should've clicked better pictures." A hundred random thoughts crossed my mind.  But then, one thought became louder than all the others. "Bro... look how far you've come." Without even realizing it, you've kept moving forward.  Sometimes life convinces us that we're stuck—that nothing is changing, that we're living the same day over and over again. But that's not true.  Because growth isn't just about looking different. It's not just about earning more money, moving to a new city, or changing your lifestyle.  Real growth is in your mindset.  It's in the hardships...

To Everyone I Ever Met

Thank You. There is something I have realized about life that I never truly understood before.  Every person who enters our lives leaves something behind. Some leave memories, some leave scars, some leave lessons, and a few leave a part of themselves within us forever. You all became teachers without even realizing it.  There are lessons that no book can teach, no classroom can explain, and no amount of imagination can prepare us for. Those lessons only come through people. Through conversations, silence, trust, disappointment, kindness, distance, love, and loss.  Many of the things I understand today about life, about peop...

Protecting My Peace

I don't expand my boundaries for anyone. It doesn't matter how close we are or how old our bond is.  If your insecurities, inferiority complex, or negativity start affecting my peace, I won't accept it. People see the world through who they are. If you're unhappy with yourself, you'll often project that onto others. I'm at peace with myself. I'm grateful for what I have, proud of what I've achieved, and excited about where I'm going. That's why I'm very cold when it comes to protecting my peace. No matter who you are, I won't think twice before walking away from any relationship that brings negativity into my life.
